Karachi Kings suffered a major setback in the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10 as New Zealand pacer Adam Milne was ruled out of the tournament due to a knee injury, the franchise confirmed Friday. He sustained the injury during Karachi’s second match of the season against Lahore Qalandars.
Despite remaining with the team and continuing rehabilitation efforts, a medical consultation concluded that the 32-year-old would be unable to play any further part in the competition. The Kings’ management extended their gratitude to Milne for his contributions and wished him a swift recovery.
Earlier, in a boost to the squad, fellow New Zealander and former national captain Kane Williamson joined the team in Lahore on Thursday.
The veteran batter arrived at the team hotel ahead of the side’s upcoming fixtures. Williamson was selected by Karachi Kings in the supplementary category during the HBL PSL 2025 draft.
