Ben Affleck returns as Christian Wolff in The Accountant 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 2016 action hit The Accountant.

Reuniting with Jon Bernthal as his dangerous brother Brax, the new film is packed with intense action, emotional depth, and a compelling new case that sees the estranged siblings working together again.

The Accountant 2 officially releases in theaters nationwide on Friday, April 25, with early screenings available in select locations on April 24. Fans can check local listings on platforms like Fandango, AMC Theatres, and Regal Cinemas.

Currently, The Accountant 2 is not available for streaming. The film is an Amazon MGM Studios production, which means it is expected to follow a staggered digital release. Based on past Amazon MGM titles, the movie may become available for digital rental or purchase by late May 2025, followed by a streaming debut on MGM+ around July 2025. A full Prime Video release for subscribers is likely by September 2025.

The film made its premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival in March 2025 and has received positive early reviews. While The Accountant 2 isn't on Netflix, fans eager to catch up can stream the original The Accountant on Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, or YouTube TV with a subscription.

For now, the only way to watch The Accountant 2 is to catch it in theaters and experience the high-stakes return of the most lethal accountant in action cinema.
