George Clooney says he and Amal have never argued in over a decade of marriage

George Clooney tells CBS Mornings he and Amal have never fought in ten years of marriage, sparking reactions.

George Clooney has once again said that he and his wife, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, have never argued in their more than ten-year marriage. Appearing on CBS Mornings on April 21 to promote his Broadway debut in Good Night, and Good Luck, the actor maintained that the couple’s record remains intact.

Speaking to Gayle King, Clooney joked they’re still looking for something to fight about. “We still haven’t,” he said. “We’re trying to find something to fight about.” He added, “I feel so extraordinarily lucky to have met this incredible woman, and I feel as if I hit the jackpot. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think I’m the luckiest man in the world.”

This isn’t the first time the Clooneys have addressed their harmonious relationship on air. During a previous appearance on CBS Mornings in 2022, they called their marriage “the easiest thing in our lives by far.” Amal acknowledged that some people around them are baffled by their dynamic. “It’s maddening to some of our friends,” she said. “I have a cousin, actually, every time we see him, his first question is, ‘So have you had an argument yet?’”

Married since 2014, George and Amal share twins Ella and Alexander. Over the years, both have publicly described their relationship in consistently positive terms.

While some fans online express doubt about a completely argument-free marriage, the Clooneys continue to present a strong and affectionate partnership. Whether it’s a rare kind of chemistry or careful communication, they continue to stand out among celebrity couples.
