Manga Mandi police have registered a formal case against seven individuals under the Punjab Sound Systems (Regulation) Act (PECA) for creating TikTok videos within the police station premises.
Authorities stated the videos, filmed using the police station as background, allegedly promoted what they termed a "hooligan culture" through their content and musical choices.
Police officials confirmed they have identified all suspects through their TikTok accounts and expect to make arrests soon.
This action comes as part of increased scrutiny of social media content filmed in sensitive government locations.
