Karachi Kings pacer Hasan Ali matched a long-standing record in the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL), sharing it with former pacer Wahab Riaz.
Ali, who is also Karachi Kings' vice-captain, equalled the all-time Pakistan Super League wicket record on Tuesday, claiming four wickets against Lahore Qalandars at National Bank Stadium.
The 30-year-old fast bowler reached the milestone during Karachi Kings' encounter with Lahore Qalandars at National Bank Stadium, where he returned figures of 4 for 28 in four overs.
Hasan dismissed Mohammad Naeem (7), Abdullah Shafique (6), Fakhar Zaman (76 off 47), and Sam Billings (19 off 10) to cap off a dominant performance that lifted him to 113 PSL wickets — the same tally as former Peshawar Zalmi captain Wahab Riaz.
Notably, Hasan achieved the feat in just 83 innings, four fewer than Wahab’s 87.
