Imran 'not even mentioned by US congressmen'

ISLAMABAD:

National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq revealed on Tuesday that the recent visiting delegation of US Congress members made no mention of PTI founding chairman Imran Khan during their engagements in Islamabad, further undermining the opposition party's efforts to draw international attention to the former premier's incarceration.

Speaking to reporters at Parliament, the NA speaker said the delegation of three US lawmakers, which met with top government officials and political leaders during its visit, conveyed a clear message: the US has no role or interest in Pakistan's internal political matters.
