Diddy accuser removes Beyoncé and Jay-Z from lawsuit after confirming they were not at alleged 2015 ‘freak off’ party

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been removed from Diddy's lawsuit after evidence showed they weren’t present in Miami.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are no longer named in a civil lawsuit filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs, after the plaintiff, Joseph Manzaro, filed an amended complaint that omits any reference to the couple.

Manzaro had initially claimed in an April 1 lawsuit that he was drugged, transported against his will, and sexually assaulted at a 2015 birthday party in Miami allegedly hosted by Combs. He had also alleged that Beyoncé and Jay-Z were present and witnessed him being forced to appear in a penis mask. However, according to TMZ, an updated complaint filed on April 11 removes the music power couple’s names entirely. Sources told the outlet that Jay-Z’s attorney presented proof that neither he nor Beyoncé were in Miami at the time of the alleged event.

In the amended complaint, the rest of Manzaro’s allegations remain unchanged. He states he lost consciousness after encountering a greasy substance at his front door and was transported to a separate location where a Combs associate allegedly informed him of the “Freak-Off” party. Manzaro says he was taken to Combs’ Miami residence, where he was forced to parade through multiple rooms and subjected to verbal abuse, sexual assault, and a physical beating.

Combs has denied all allegations. In a statement on April 1, his legal team said the lawsuit “demonstrates the depraved lengths plaintiffs will travel to garner headlines in pursuit of a payday.”

This lawsuit is one of several legal battles the music mogul faces. In addition to the civil cases, Combs was indicted in 2024 on federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and related offenses. He has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody in New York ahead of his trial.
