Gulf Business has released its 2025 edition of the Top 100 Most Powerful Arabs, marking a significant shift in regional and global influence with a brand-new name taking the top spot.

Now in its latest edition, the Gulf Business Power 100 celebrates Arab leaders driving transformation across finance, politics, science, technology, and media.

The 2025 ranking was compiled using a weighted methodology that measured financial capital, human capital, expansion plans, and personal fame.

The list includes six new entrants and 21 women, reflecting growing female leadership across sectors long dominated by men.

"This is more than a list — it’s a mirror of shifting power," said Gulf Business editors in a statement. “In a world shaped by volatility and innovation, these figures are defining what influence means in 2025.”

The annual feature is one of the most closely watched in the region, with names spanning royalty, ministers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders who continue to redefine Arab leadership on the global stage.

While full names and rankings are published in Gulf Business’ April issue and online portal, the outlet teased that the new top figure “avoids the limelight but leaves a global footprint,” hinting at a transformative role in the geopolitical and digital economy.
