Bus driver killed, several injured in motorway crash

The driver died while several passengers were injured in a collision between a passenger bus and a truck on the Motorway M4 near Pensarah.

After the accident, both the vehicles caught fire and were completely destroyed.

Motorway Police officers said the passenger bus hit the truck from behind.

There were 43 passengers on the bus, many of whom sustained minor injuries.

According to an official, the driver of a well-known company's bus number CAC4874, which was going from Dera Ghazi Khan to Islamabad near Pensarah Motorway M4 area of Thikriwala police station, fell asleep and hit the truck in front, as a result of which the bus driver Muhammad Jaffer died on the spot.
