Sufi legend Abida Parveen, pop star Ali Zafar, and rap duo Young Stunners will headline the opening ceremony of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) X, scheduled for Friday, 11 April, at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The event will also feature performances by the singers of the official HBL PSL X anthem — Abrar ul Haq, Natasha Baig, Talha Anjum, and Ali Zafar — and will include a cultural showcase and a fireworks display.
This marks the first time Rawalpindi will host the tournament’s curtain-raiser. The ceremony will begin at 7pm, followed by the tournament opener between defending champions Islamabad United and two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at 8:30pm.
HBL PSL X will be staged across four venues: Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore and Multan. The final will be held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on 18 May.
Tickets for the ceremony and matches are available at pcb.tcs.com.pk.
