Ye is once again making headlines, this time calling out Frank Ocean for trying to school him on politics back in 2016. During a livestream with Digital Nas, the rapper and mogul claimed that the reclusive singer showed up at his house to urge him to stop supporting Donald Trump.
"Frank Ocean pussy ass come over my house talking about Trump all day and how I shouldn't support Trump," Ye said. "Na, f you know about politics and na I'm your motherfing senior, OG, y'all used to come on tour with me n***a."
Ye didn’t stop there. He questioned Ocean’s qualifications to speak on political matters and made it clear that no one, especially someone younger, could tell him what to do.
"None of you nas can tell me about politics na. F*** you think? You read a book and now you can tell me some s***?"
In true Ye fashion, he pivoted to his own greatness, saying, "None of these nas as talented. I'm the greatest motherfing artist that ever existed. They can just be slightly better at one thing cause they only do that one thing."

Ye has long been vocal about his support for Trump, which he first publicly revealed during a Saint Pablo Tour rant in 2016. At the time, he said, "[Voting for Trump] don't mean that I don't think that Black Lives Matter; that don't mean I don't believe in women's rights; that don't mean I don't believe in gay marriage. That don't mean I don't believe in these things because that was the guy I would've voted for."
His support didn’t stop with that tour moment. Ye doubled down later that year when he met with Trump in New York, and again in 2018 when he visited the White House while wearing a MAGA hat—an image that would go on to define that era of his public persona.
