Kanye West is making waves again after a heated series of posts on X, where he took shots at multiple rap heavyweights, including Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Future. On Tuesday, March 19, 2025, Ye unleashed a string of tweets criticizing the artists, reigniting long-standing tensions in the hip-hop world.

Taking direct aim at Future’s recent feature on Playboi Carti’s new album MUSIC, Ye wrote, “AFTER LISTENING TO CARTI'S ALBUM IMA SAY SOMETHING I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SAY ... FUTURE'S WASHED.”

He then turned his focus to Kendrick Lamar, dismissing his success and questioning his relevance: “KENDRICK SOUND LIKE A R*PIST.” In another tweet, he claimed, “NOOOOBODY HAS EVER LISTENED TO KENDRICK OR KNOWS ANY OF HIS SONGS.”

West also reignited the rivalry between Kendrick and Drake, expressing his disdain for Lamar’s Grammy-winning diss track Not Like Us. “I HAAAAAATED NOT LIKE US.” Despite his criticism of Kendrick, Ye insisted that Drake deserved a Super Bowl halftime performance before Lamar, tweeting, “I ACTUALLY KIND OF LIKED KENDRICK'S HALF TIME SHOW BUT ME OR TRAV OR FAOT (AKA DRAKE] DESERVED A SUPER BOWL BEFORE KENDRICK.”**

Drake was also a major target in Ye’s tirade. West mocked the Toronto rapper’s fashion choices, posting a photo of him in bright yellow shorts, blue cowboy boots, and a matching beanie, writing, “CRIME… I DIDN'T KNOW BRO WAS STARRING IN BARBIE 2.” He also repeatedly insulted Drake in multiple posts, questioning his credibility and presence in Australia.

While Ye was mostly critical in his posts, he did take a moment to show respect to 50 Cent, calling him the “GOAT” with a simple white goat emoji. He also praised Lizzo, saying, “AMAZING TALENT.”

Ye’s explosive rant comes after months of controversial statements that led to him temporarily deactivating his X account. His latest comments have only fueled the ongoing drama in the hip-hop world, leaving fans and critics divided.
