Jessica Simpson isn't backing down from her controversial claim that drinking snake sperm helps improve her singing.

The 44-year-old singer and actress, who recently made waves with her vocal enhancement ritual, proudly declared her intention to keep using the herbal remedy, stating it "really clears my throat."

In a recent chat with TMZ, Simpson confirmed that the Chinese herbal cocktail, which includes snake sperm, continues to play a significant role in her vocal performance. "Of course! Are you kidding me? Yeah!" Simpson responded when asked if she’d continue drinking it. She even jokingly teased that she might start making her own version of the drink.

The pop star, who released her first EP in 15 years, titled Nashville Canyon, Part 1, recently discussed the drink’s surprising taste, describing it as similar to “a really dark honey.” This unique remedy was recommended to her by her vocal coach, who emphasized its benefits for her voice. Simpson shared that she initially discovered the inclusion of snake sperm while researching the cocktail online. "If you want a good vocal, you’ve got to drink snake sperm," she told her followers in a social media post.

During a casual airport interaction, Simpson also playfully answered questions about the drink, admitting she couldn’t carry it on the plane due to TSA regulations. Despite the unusual nature of the drink, Simpson confidently endorsed it, saying, "I'm just a great singer when I have snake sperm."

Her comments have sparked widespread curiosity and humor, but Simpson appears unbothered, insisting that her approach to clearing her throat is here to stay.
