
A moderate earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 struck parts of Karachi and its surrounding areas on Monday afternoon, according to a statement from the Met Office.
According to the Earthquake Monitoring Center, the earthquake registered a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 19 kilometers. The epicenter of the earthquake was reported to be 75 kilometers north of Karachi.
The tremors were felt at 4:11 PM, with many residents taking to social media to share their experiences. However, there have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties from the earthquake.
