LAHORE:
The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) has initiated an extensive sanitation operation across the city to maintain cleanliness during Eidul Fitr. The company has suspended staff holidays to ensure uninterrupted waste management services throughout the holiday period.
More than 15,000 sanitation workers and over 1,400 vehicles have been deployed in three shifts, ensuring round-the-clock operations, including on Sunday. Special teams have been assigned to critical locations such as markets.
