
A young man riding a motorcycle died after being hit by the squad car of the Rawalpindi deputy commissioner.
The police handed over the body to the heirs of the deceased after necessary action. According to the details, the official vehicle on squad duty with the Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, near Chak No. 103, Sadaqat Mill Road, Chak Jhumra area of Chak Jhumra police station, was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi.
A motorcyclist, 20-year-old Junaid Tariq, son of Tariq, resident of Chak 163, suddenly collided with the official vehicle near Chak No. 163 Balgan Village, while going towards Kharianwala from Saianwala and was seriously injured.
He was shifted to the hospital after medical assistance, where he died after struggling for life.
On receiving information, police officers reached the spot, took possession of the body of the deceased and handed it over to his relatives after necessary action.
SHO Chak Jhumra Mansoor Sadiq claimed the relatives of the deceased Junaid Tariq have assured that they will take no action.
