Zimbabwe are set for a packed international home season, hosting South Africa and New Zealand in a multi-format series featuring Test cricket and a T20I tri-series.

The series begins with a historic two-Test contest against South Africa at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, marking the first time the sides meet in the longest format since 2017. The first Test starts on June 28, followed by the second from July 6.

Following the Tests, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and New Zealand will compete in a T20I tri-series, commencing on July 14 in Harare. Each team will face the others twice, with the top two advancing to the final on July 26.

Zimbabwe will then return to Test cricket, taking on New Zealand in a two-match series in Bulawayo, their first red-ball clash since 2016. The series begins on July 30, with the final Test scheduled from August 7.

Zimbabwe Cricket Managing Director Givemore Makoni hailed the series as a major opportunity.

“This is the biggest international home season we have had in years, and it is an incredible opportunity for our players to test themselves against two of the world’s cricketing powerhouses,” Makoni said.
