Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are preparing to tie the knot this summer in Venice, Italy, after a nearly two-year engagement.

The Amazon founder and his fiancée have officially sent out their wedding invitations, according to Page Six, with the ceremony set to take place aboard Bezos’ $500 million superyacht, Koru.

Bezos proposed to Sánchez in May 2023 with a 20-carat, $2.5 million diamond ring. Sánchez recalled the moment in an interview with Vogue, admitting she “blacked out a bit” due to the overwhelming emotion. The couple, who began dating after ending previous long-term marriages, have since become one of the most talked-about power pairs.

Their wedding will be held in June off the coast of Italy, marking the latest in a series of high-profile appearances, including the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party and President Donald Trump’s second inauguration. Sánchez, a former journalist, turned heads at the Oscars in a white mermaid gown by Oscar de la Renta, fuelling buzz about the upcoming nuptials.

Earlier reports speculated a December wedding in Colorado, but those rumours were dismissed. Instead, the couple celebrated their engagement in Positano with A-list friends like Bill Gates, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kris Jenner, and Queen Rania of Jordan.

Sánchez is also scheduled to join Oprah Winfrey and Katy Perry on a Blue Origin space mission this spring. The all-women crew will participate in the 11th human flight of Bezos’ New Shepard programme, reinforcing her growing role in the billionaire’s ventures.

The Venice wedding will be a luxurious affair, matching the scale of Bezos’ recent endeavours in space travel and media. With the elite guest list and breathtaking Italian backdrop, the celebration is set to be one of the most glamorous events of 2025.
