LAHORE:

The cause list of a Lahore High Court (LHC) bench, which was scheduled to hear the bail pleas of PTI founder Imran Khan in eight May 9 rioting cases has been withdrawn. A division bench comprising Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi and Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh was to hear the bail pleas.

He in his bail pleas had contended that he was in the custody of NAB in Islamabad on May 9 when the rioting incidents broke out.

Imran stated that he was implicated in "fabricated and politically motivated cases" merely to humiliate and embarrass him.
