Former captain and wicketkeeper of the national cricket team, Moin Khan, failed to recognise his son and Pakistani cricketer Azam Khan, even after talking on the phone for two minutes.
The former captain, along with his wife, appeared on Express Entertainment's special Ramadan show Piyara Ramzan. During the show, Azam Khan participated as a caller.
When host Javeria Saud asked Azam Khan a question, he replied, “Both of you know me very well.” However, Moin Khan failed to recognise his son's voice. Azam then said, “Dad, it’s me,” prompting a chuckle from Javeria Saud. His mother, however, immediately recognised him.
Moin Khan responded by saying, “Azam, why are you making your voice sound different?” Azam Khan shared that he was witnessing his parents cooking after a long time.
Moin Khan clarified, "The day you eat at home, I’ll cook the food.” Azam mentioned that his father makes delicious karahi and other dishes.
Piyara Ramzan is a special transmission on Express Entertainment, airing live daily at 3 PM, hosted by Javeria Saud. The show has become very popular among viewers, contributing to its rising viewership.
