Canadian rapper Drake is once again at the center of online controversy after a set of alleged Instagram DMs went viral, with many questioning both the content and authenticity of the screenshots. The messages, which began circulating on March 20, appear to show Drake engaged in a conversation that has raised eyebrows across social media.

One of the standout quotes from the leaked exchange reads: "Then h*es drunk af. Trying to be podcast poetic." Another message that caught the internet’s attention involves a disturbing anecdote: "We edited out so much. The one girl was like I was 14 and my man was 25. I was like WHAT???? Lol."
The authenticity of the DMs remains unverified, and it’s unclear who Drake was allegedly speaking to. Some users speculated the messages were part of a conversation with DJ Akademiks, though no concrete evidence has surfaced to support that claim.
Social media was instantly flooded with commentary. One user wrote: "He's not beating the allegations anytime soon ."Another chimed in, "Drake is never beating the allegations , certified……" Meanwhile, others expressed skepticism, with someone tweeting: "Those dm’s with Drake aren’t real it’s artificially generated." Another added: "These ain't the current things on his page tho."

This incident echoes a similar situation from January 2025, when another batch of Drake’s alleged messages was leaked. In those, he reportedly referenced Universal Music Group and LeBron James, stating:
"Me and Universal is like if Nike was funding a campaign about LeBron cheating on his wife."
He allegedly added: "Everybody before me that tried the label was too eccentric so they wrote them off as crazy and they never had to pay for their sins and mistakes."
In response to the latest controversy, DJ Akademiks has dismissed the messages as fake, claiming the DMs were fabricated to “go viral.” One fan-supported theory, quoted directly, claimed: "This is a fake DM. Drake called buddy a Rat..... he got mad and made up some fake DM to try to make the blogs and go viral. end of story. Source - THE BOY."

As of now, Drake has not publicly addressed the situation. The internet, however, remains divided—with one half convinced the DMs are authentic, and the other calling it another round of AI-generated chaos designed to stir up drama.
