The federal government has announced Eid and spring holidays for all federal educational institutions, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Federal Education.
As per the official notification, schools and colleges under the federal system will remain closed from March 31 to April 4.
The ministry further stated that the new academic session will commence on April 7. The notification applies to all federal government schools and colleges across the country.
Govt announces Eid holidays
A day earlier, the federal government officially announced the public holidays on the occasion of Eidul Fitr, granting a three-day break.
According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday, the holidays will commence from Monday, March 31, to Wednesday, April 2.
