
Nine members of Pakistan’s ODI squad have begun preparations for the upcoming three-match series against New Zealand, with a training camp at the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) ground, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Tuesday.
The camp, set to conclude on March 21, includes captain Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Abdullah Shafique, Imam-ul-Haq, Tayyab Tahir, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Naseem Shah, and Akif Javed.
Pakistan’s squad will depart for New Zealand on March 23, with the ODI series scheduled to run from March 29 to April 5. The team is currently engaged in a five-match T20I series against the Black Caps, trailing 2-0.
Pakistan’s ODI squad: Mohammad Rizwan (captain), Salman Ali Agha (vice-captain), Abdullah Shafique, Abrar Ahmed, Akif Javed, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Imam-ul-Haq, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Naseem Shah, Sufyan Moqim, and Tayyab Tahir.
A wicketkeeper-batter will be added after the T20I series.
