An accident occurred in Lodhran when a speeding trailer ran over three siblings on a motorcycle, killing one on the spot and severely injuring another on Tuesday.
The victims were on their way to school when the incident took place.
According to the FIR, two brothers, 15-year-old Azaan and 12-year-old Arsalan, along with their 16-year-old sister, Aleema Bibi, residents of 26-M, were riding a motorcycle to Government High School 35-M.
After refuelling at a petrol pump near Pul Bazari, they re-entered the road and collided with a speeding trailer (registration number SQN-266). The impact threw the siblings onto the road, where the trailer ran over both brothers.
Arsalan, 12, died on the spot, while Azaan sustained critical injuries. Rescue 1122 rushed him to the hospital in critical condition. Dunyapur police pursued the trailer, and the driver abandoned the vehicle near Bangla Basant before fleeing the scene.
