Three terrorists killed in Khyber IBO

Security forces on Monday eliminated three terrorists during an intelligence based operation (IBP) conducted in the Tor Darra general area of Khyber District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) province. The operation was carried out on the basis of reports about the presence of terrorists in the areas.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the operation, troops "effectively engaged the khawarij location" and neutralized three terrorists.

"Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from killed khawarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

"Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other kharji found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country," it added.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the security forces for successfully conducting the IBO.
