
The Consul General of China Yang Yundong, while addressing a press briefing on the topic of China's Two Sessions 2025, highlighted the significant role of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in China's governance system.
The Consul General stated that the sessions included a comprehensive review of the Government Work Report, which reflected on China's developmental achievements over the past years. He emphasised that these sessions offer valuable insights for Pakistan as well.
Yang said that the production of new energy vehicles (NEVs) has surpassed 13 million units, and over 12 million new urban jobs have been created, contributing to significant socio-economic growth. Furthermore, grain output has exceeded 700 million tons, marking a major milestone in China's efforts toward food security.
He shared that China has introduced DeepSeek, a highly efficient and cost-effective AI solution, and successfully conducted lunar surface exploration through Chang'e-6 mission.
