Fans of the 2005 romantic drama Pride & Prejudice can rejoice as Focus Features is bringing the film back to theaters in honor of its 20th anniversary.

The celebrated Jane Austen adaptation, starring Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet and Matthew Macfadyen as Mr. Darcy, will return to the big screen nationwide on April 20, allowing a new generation to experience its timeless romance.

As part of the anniversary festivities, a new line of Pride & Prejudice merchandise will be released, along with a long-awaited vinyl edition of the film’s Academy Award-nominated soundtrack. Composed by Dario Marianelli and performed by Jean-Yves Thibaudet, the iconic score will be available in multiple collectible formats later this spring.

Directed by Joe Wright and written by Deborah Moggach, Pride & Prejudice was a box office success, earning over $122 million globally. It remains one of the most beloved period dramas, praised for its modern sensibilities, stunning cinematography, and powerful performances—particularly Knightley’s, which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. The film holds an 87% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and continues to influence pop culture.

The ensemble cast includes Judi Dench, Donald Sutherland, Rosamund Pike, Carey Mulligan, and Jena Malone, among others. Whether you’re revisiting the film or discovering it for the first time, this rerelease is the perfect way to celebrate its enduring legacy.
