The Airport Security Force foiled an atempt to smuggle 3.2 kg heroin to UK and arrested the suspected man at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Wednesday. The contraband with an estimated value of Rs3.5 million was concealed in the pairs of the Majid’s shoes.


Majid had entered the departure lounge of the airport during the check-in of the UK flight when an on-duty security guard reported him to a senior official upon suspicion. On search the contraband was recovered from Majid’s shoes. The suspect was handed over to the police.
