Tom Holland’s first look from Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey set in Greece goes viral
Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated epic, The Odyssey, is in full production, with filming currently underway in Greece.
While the cast remains largely under wraps, it has been confirmed that Matt Damon will portray Odysseus. Now, leaked set photos of Tom Holland, dressed in full costume, have surfaced online, sparking speculation about his role.
The images, which went viral on Wednesday, show Holland on a wooden, ancient-style boat alongside Nolan and other crew members. Rumors suggest that Holland will play Telemachus, the son of Odysseus, who embarks on his own journey while awaiting his father’s return.
The film boasts an all-star ensemble, including Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, Mia Goth, and Jon Bernthal. Based on Homer’s ancient Greek epic, The Odyssey follows Odysseus’s perilous 10-year journey home to Ithaca after the Trojan War. Along the way, he encounters mythical creatures like the Cyclops Polyphemus and the sorceress Circe, with Mia Goth reportedly playing one of these roles.
