Untreated Waste: Textile mill sealed

MUZAFFARGARH: The Environment Protection Department (EPD) has sealed a textile mills in Muzaffargarh on court orders for disposing of its waste without treatment. The action was taken after the administration of Fatima Enterprises Textile Mills failed to heed to an EPD warning requiring them to set up a waste treatment plant. Nasir Khan Dasti had filed a complaint against the textile mill, stating that the industrial unit was dumping its waste into nearby agriculture fields without treatment.
