DeAnna Pappas arrested after altercation with ex-husband Stephen Stagliano

Former Bachelorette star DeAnna Pappas was arrested following a heated altercation with her ex-husband, Stephen Stagliano.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly and first reported by In Touch, the incident occurred on February 26, 2025, when Stagliano’s mother, Lynn, alleged she smelled alcohol on Pappas while picking up their 9-year-old son, Austin, for school.

Later that evening, Stagliano arrived at Pappas’ home to pick up their 11-year-old daughter, Addison. Pappas claimed he attempted to follow her into her garage, leaving their daughter alone in his car. She alleged that he physically pushed her, leading her to call the police. However, Stagliano accused Pappas of being intoxicated and filed a domestic violence complaint against her.

Pappas was arrested on February 27 on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on a $20,000 bond. She later submitted to voluntary drug and alcohol testing, which she claims returned negative results. In her legal response, Pappas denied having a drinking problem and accused Stagliano of coaching their daughter to “sniff out alcohol” in her home.

On March 7, Pappas filed a restraining order against Stagliano, requiring him to stay 100 yards away from her. The former couple, who finalized their divorce in June 2024, had previously agreed not to consume alcohol around their children. A court hearing is scheduled for later this month.
