Two robbers deprived a retired banker of gold jewellery worth Rs750,000 here at Chah Niaziwala on Wednesday night. According to the police, Altaf Khan Daha, a resident of Chah Niaziwala, was returning home after withdrawing the jewellery he had deposited with a branch of National Bank of Pakistan when the unidentified robbers stopped him on gunpoint. The robbers snatched the jewellery and fled from the scene.
