Elon Musk's social media platform X experienced another major outage, affecting thousands of users in the United States and the UK. According to Downdetector.com, reports of the outage surged to more than 40,000 across the US after easing earlier in the day. The number of affected users in the UK was also significant, with over 10,800 reports of service disruption.

While the cause of the outage remains unclear, X has not yet responded to a Reuters request for comment. The outage-tracking website's user-submitted data showed that the platform's users faced difficulties accessing their accounts, with many reporting issues with loading feeds and posting content.

This incident adds to a series of disruptions that have affected the platform in recent months, raising questions about the stability of the service.
