Lady Gaga lit up Saturday Night Live on March 8, 2025, delivering high-energy performances of two tracks from her newly released album Mayhem.Gaga impressed audiences by seamlessly balancing intense dance routines with live vocals—an achievement few SNL musical guests attempt, especially while also hosting.

For her second number, Gaga debuted Killah live just 48 hours after its official release, adding to the excitement surrounding Mayhem. The song, which features a retro-funk sound, has quickly become a fan favorite. Swapping her red ensemble for purple—an apparent nod to Killah’s Prince-inspired influences—Gaga took her performance beyond the stage, moving through the backstage hallways of SNL while dancing alongside background performers. She eventually returned to the mirrored set, where she rocked out with a live band, shifting from electro-pop to a full-band arrangement.

In addition to her musical numbers, Gaga participated in sketches featuring comedic singing. She performed a parody of Wonderful Tonight in a restaurant skit with Bowen Yang and later closed the show with a comedic musical moment. During her monologue, she poked fun at her Joker film and made light of her past collaboration with R. Kelly.

Gaga’s SNL appearance showcased her versatility, seamlessly blending humor, theatricality, and powerhouse vocals, proving once again why she remains a dominant force in entertainment.
