TANDO MUHAMMAD KHAN:

While many citizens run from pole to post to get the FIR registered for snatching of mobile phones, a lawyer got a case registered against theft of shoes from outside a mosque.

An FIR has been registered against a complaint of theft of shoes reported by a lawyer who had gone to a mosque in Tando Muhammad Khan.

Former General Secretary of the District Bar Association, Ali Sher, had gone for prayers when the thief made off with his shoes. Police have been deployed for security around the main mosques these days. Apparently, the security cops were focused on terror threat and had no idea if a thief would strike when the faithful were in the sijda.

Moreover, the shoes, as a general practice across the country and South Asia, are left unattended at the doorstep or a shelf of a worship place.
