Prime Video has confirmed that The Summer I Turned Pretty will conclude with its third and final season, set to premiere in July.
The series, based on Jenny Han’s bestselling novels, will adapt We’ll Always Have Summer, the last book in her trilogy.
Starring Lola Tung as Belly, the show revolves around her love triangle with brothers Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). Season 2 ended with Belly choosing Jeremiah, mirroring the events of the second book. Conrad, heartbroken, gave her back the infinity necklace before breaking down in private, while Jeremiah supported Belly as she returned to her volleyball team.
Fans of the books know that the love triangle is far from settled. While Belly starts the third novel in a relationship with Jeremiah, Conrad continues to struggle with his lingering feelings for her. Season 3 will explore whether Belly’s choice remains final or if Conrad finds a way back into her heart.
Jenny Han, who serves as the showrunner, has stayed faithful to the novels while making slight adjustments to the storytelling. With the final season on the horizon, fans eagerly await how Belly’s journey will conclude.
The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 premieres in July, marking the end of the beloved series.
