Backstage news on Rhea Ripley's WrestleMania 41 plans

WWE is expected to add Rhea Ripley to the WrestleMania 41 Women’s World Title match, making it a Triple Threat.

Rhea Ripley’s stunning loss to Iyo Sky on Monday Night RAW has left fans questioning her role at WrestleMania 41.

However, WWE is reportedly planning to add her back into the championship match, setting up a Triple Threat between Ripley, Sky, and Bianca Belair.

According to WrestleVotes, speaking on the Backstage Pass Q&A with Bill Apter, WWE’s creative team has been building toward this outcome for months.

"The anticipation is that the match will turn into a three-way at WrestleMania," WrestleVotes said. "Fully expect for that match to turn into a Triple Threat match by the time we get to Las Vegas."

Ripley’s title reign ended in shocking fashion after she became distracted by Belair at ringside, allowing Sky to capitalize. Given the months-long tensions between Mami, The EST of WWE, and The Genius of the Sky, WWE appears to have been setting up this match for some time.

After RAW, Ripley reflected on her costly mistake.

"I should’ve known better," she admitted. "I’ve been through this before—with Liv Morgan, with Dom, with Judgment Day—and I still cannot learn."

Ripley’s potential inclusion in the WrestleMania 41 title match signals a return to high-stakes storytelling. Fans, who had grown frustrated with her previous storyline involving Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio, are eager to see Ripley back in a championship-focused feud.

With WWE’s biggest show of the year approaching, Ripley’s redemption arc could reach its peak in Las Vegas.
