A man who assaulted his wife over a domestic issue and cut her hair was arrested.
The woman's brother contacted the Punjab Emergency Helpline 15 from Rahim Yar Khan, reporting that her husband was assaulting her.
Upon receiving the call, the Virtual Women Police Station dispatched personnel to the scene.
A spokesperson for the Safe Cities Authority stated that the police ensured protection of the woman and arrested the suspect.
A case was registered against the arrested man and legal proceedings initiated.
