A woman complainant of sexual assault against a police official and her witnesses are facing legal action for filing a false report.
According to officials, the woman had accused the police official and his accomplices of sexually assaulting her daughter and niece while recording videos of the crime.
Based on her complaint, a case was registered and the suspect, Arsalan, was arrested.
However, during the investigation, the complainant and the alleged victims refused to undergo DNA testing.
They later presented a reconciliation agreement in a court, stating that the suspect and his associate Atif were not involved in any wrongdoing.
The Raiwind city police have booked the woman and two witnesses under sections of the Anti-Rape Act for lodging a false case.
