Detained man dies in encounter

LAHORE:

An exchange of fire between the Kotwali Organised Crime Unit (OCU) and suspected robbers left one of the suspects killed by the firing of his accomplices, the police said.

According to the police, an OCU team was taking the suspect involved in several cases to Shahdara to recover weapons when unidentified men opened indiscriminate fire on them. The suspect, Zeeshan, died due to firing of his accomplices, the police said.
