Thief steals laptop, belongings from mosque

RAWALPINDI:

A citizen's laptop, valuable documents, and personal belongings were stolen from a mosque in the Cantt police station area while he was praying.

At the request of the victim, Ziaur Rehman, Cantt police registered a case regarding the theft of his laptop and bag. In his statement, Rehman, who is employed, stated that he left his bag in Saddar's mosque, which contained a laptop, important documents, a USB, a charger, and other belongings. After finishing his prayers, he realised that the bag was missing. Upon reviewing the mosque's CCTV footage, it was confirmed that an unknown individual had stolen it.

The CCTV footage shows the suspect strategically placing a blue board near the victim's belongings before entering the mosque. Moments later, he picks up the bag and places it near the hat rack. He then selects a pair of shoes from the rack, puts them on, and exits the mosque carrying the stolen bag.
