Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has opened up about her relationship with Prince Harry, describing their marriage as being in a “honeymoon period again” as she dives back into the entrepreneurial world.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Markle shared how launching her new lifestyle brand As Ever and her Netflix series With Love, Meghan has sparked excitement in her husband.

“My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me,” Markle said. “It’s almost like a honeymoon period again because it’s exactly how it was in the beginning.”

Markle first launched The Tig—a lifestyle blog covering travel, food, and wellness—while starring in Suits. She shut it down in 2017 as she transitioned into royal life.

“Well, I loved The Tig, but I certainly love my husband more,” she said. “So that was a choice I made at the time, and I wouldn’t change that for a second.”

While Markle is focused on her business, Prince Harry continues his philanthropic efforts through the Archewell Foundation. “I imagine that it’s the same as it would be for any couple,” she explained. “You have your individual jobs, but then you have things that you share together.”

The couple, who wed in 2018, have settled into a routine with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in Montecito, California. Markle describes the area as a protective and welcoming community for their family.

Markle’s upcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, was delayed following the devastating Los Angeles fires that destroyed over 11,000 homes. The couple helped displaced families and hosted friends in Montecito.

Actress and producer Justine Batemen blasted Harry and Meghan for the "photo op" with fire victims.

“It will be a really long road to recovery,” she said. “It’s my home state, and I will continue my support in whatever way I can.”

With Love, Meghan premieres on Netflix March 4.
