Selena Gomez avoids Hailey Bieber at Vanity Fair Oscar Party amid Justin Bieber divorce rumors

Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber both attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Los Angeles on Sunday, but they reportedly kept their distance from each other. 

Although both wore similar strapless gowns and posed on the red carpet, Gomez deliberately avoided Bieber to prevent unnecessary speculation, Daily Mail reported.

A source told the publication that Gomez was keen to keep the focus on her role as a presenter at the Oscars for Emilia Perez, a film she has openly supported. “There was no way Selena wanted an awkward photo and for everyone to write about it the next day,” the source said. 

However, the insider clarified that Gomez would have exchanged greetings with Bieber if they had crossed paths, as she is known for being cordial.

Bieber attended the event solo, without her husband, Justin Bieber, which added to growing speculation about their relationship. 

The couple, who welcomed their first child, Jack Blues, in August, have faced rumors of marital troubles, especially after Justin briefly unfollowed Hailey on Instagram before claiming his account had been hacked.

Meanwhile, Daily Mail reported that Justin Bieber has mixed feelings about Gomez’s engagement to producer Benny Blanco. 

A source suggested that Bieber, who once confided in Blanco about his heartbreak over Gomez, felt somewhat betrayed by their relationship—despite acknowledging he had no real reason to feel that way.
