Governor Sindh announces plots for dumper's accident victims families

Tessori also launched the "Ittehad Ramadan" initiative at the Governor House during the holy month of Ramadan

Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, has announced that the families of those who lost their lives in dumper truck accidents in Karachi will be given plots of land.

Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, Tessori assured that each family would receive one plot. He explained that a daily lottery would be held to allocate the plots, and the builders would hand over the files to the families on the same day.

In addition, Governor Tessori also launched the "Ittehad Ramadan" initiative at the Governor House during the holy month of Ramadan as he explained that the program is meant to promote unity and solidarity among people.

Tessori also expressed concern about the rising drug addiction among the youth and urged parents to closely monitor their children. He revealed that over 32 different forms of drugs are available in the market, and emphasized the need for teachers in schools to undergo medical tests.

In a bid to combat drug-related issues, the Governor announced the creation of a special anti-drug cell at the Governor House, stating that no one would be able to blackmail others anymore. He added that public awareness would be a key focus of this initiative.

Tessori also shared a disturbing incident where he received an email threatening his life, with explicit threats of being killed in a manner similar to that of Imran Farooq. Despite these threats, he continued with his planned visit to London.

The Governor announced plans to write to the Provincial Minister of Interior regarding private security guards, calling for a clear policy on private security. He criticized the current situation, where private security guards are often stationed outside residences in large numbers, and urged an end to this practice, describing it as a mockery of the city.

Kamran Tessori also assured that the case of Mustafa Amir would be thoroughly investigated, and those involved in the case would be held accountable.

Lastly, the Governor thanked prominent businessman Ali Sheikhani for his support in providing assistance for Iftar at the Governor House as acknowledged Sheikhani’s regular contributions to various activities at the Governor House.
