The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that complimentary special Iftar boxes will be provided to fasting spectators during the remaining matches of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai.

The initiative aligns with the spirit of Ramadan, ensuring that fans observing the holy month can enjoy the tournament without disruption. The distribution will take place across all non-hospitality enclosures at the Dubai International Stadium just before Iftar time.

The holy month is expected to begin this weekend, coinciding with the Group A fixture between New Zealand and India on Sunday, March 2. This will be the first match of the tournament to be played during Ramadan, a period of fasting, reflection, and community for Muslims worldwide.

The ECB's move reflects its commitment to inclusivity and cultural respect, enhancing the match-day experience for all attendees.

Cricket fans and families can look forward to an enriching blend of sports and tradition, as the initiative fosters a sense of togetherness and celebration. The ECB’s decision has been widely praised by the community, highlighting the unifying power of cricket during this significant time of the year.
