Pakistani model and actor Dodhi Khan presented a ring to Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant. The duo met in Dubai after weeks of social media buzz about their supposed wedding plans.
Dodhi had previously proposed to Sawant in a video, prompting rumours that she was ready to become a "Pakistani bride."
In the latest video, Khan is seen slipping a ring onto Sawant’s finger. However, he explicitly stated that it was not an engagement ring but a token of their friendship.
The clarification has led to a wave of reactions from social media users, with opinions split on the nature of their relationship.
Earlier, Khan had backtracked on his proposal after facing criticism online.
He even suggested that Sawant should find a Pakistani groom instead.
Earlier, Rakhi Sawant had declined Pakistani religious scholar Mufti Abdul Qavi’s marriage proposal, saying he would not be able to handle her.
Speaking to a private channel, Rakhi said, “I am not serious about marrying Mufti Qavi. I don’t know if he has 100 wives or 900, but I alone am equal to 100,000 women, and he wouldn’t be able to handle me.”
The actress added that she is still searching for true love, which she has not found in India yet.
