Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is grieving the loss of his beloved dog, Hobbs, who passed away recently.
On February 25, the 52-year-old actor shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, posting a carousel of photos and videos showcasing his time with Hobbs over the years.
In his emotional caption, Johnson wrote, "RIP Hobbs I’ve been numb over this loss, but we’re so grateful for every ounce of pure love he gave our entire family and we’re so grateful he didn’t suffer long as he quietly and bravely left in the night." He also reflected on the recent challenges he's faced, expressing feelings of loneliness and contemplation.
The post included a video of Johnson and Hobbs lying on the ground together, followed by a black-and-white photo of the dog playfully licking his face. There were also moments of Hobbs playfully biting his hand and a Polaroid of the pup from 2016 when he joined the Johnson family.
Johnson frequently shared Hobbs' presence with his fans, including a memorable moment in November 2024 when Hobbs appeared alongside him during a GQ cover shoot. Johnson also featured Hobbs in ‘Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw’.
