He promised to beat “three doorknobs and John Cena” on Saturday to earn a shot at Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.

CM Punk interrupted, dismissing Paul as a “kid who does stupid things for shock value.” Paul fired back, saying Punk’s career has been defined by failure and that his WWE return ended in injury because he “couldn’t handle the spotlight.”

Punk warned Paul that while names may change in WWE, legends remain, and after Saturday, Paul would be history.

Paul slapped Punk before quickly retreating up the ramp, taunting him from a safe distance.
