Opposition lawmakers have submitted a requisition to the Punjab Assembly Secretariat, demanding a session to debate five pressing issues, including the restriction on meeting PTI's founding chairman, Imran Khan.
The requisition, moved by PTI Opposition Leader Ahmad Khan Bhachar along with other MPAs, seeks discussion on matters such as law and order, demolition of PTI lawmakers' houses, inflation, misuse of the Annual Development Program, and sugarcane payments.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhachar criticized the government, claiming it has failed to provide relief to the people and is focused on sidelining PTI instead of addressing public issues.
He alleged that the demolition of PTI lawmakers' houses and the government's failure to control inflation are evidence of its incompetence.
