Two disturbing incidents of sexual assault on women were reported in Shadbagh and Sattokatla, where victims were not only subjected to abuse but also filmed for blackmail.
According to an FIR registered at Shadbagh police station, a man, along with his sister-in-law, allegedly lured his ex-wife to a house under the pretext of reconciliation, where he assaulted her and recorded videos.
The victim, had eloped with the suspect, Owais, around a year and a half ago but later separated.
On the day of the incident, Owais and his sister-in-law allegedly trapped her and subjected her to sexual violence. In another case reported in Sattokatla, a private university student was allegedly assaulted by her classmate under false promises of marriage.
